Job Summary:
Flint Community Schools is seeking a skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology and a valid Michigan Teacher's Certificate with full approval in Speech & Language Impairment (SB).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and provide written reports to identify students with speech and language disabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address the needs of students with speech and language impairments.
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, including one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in speech and language pathology to provide evidence-based services.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid Michigan Teacher's Certificate with full approval in Speech & Language Impairment (SB).
  • Experience working with students with speech and language disabilities preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
