Lead Maintenance Mechanic

Responsible for performing light maintenance repairs and cleaning tasks in a safe and professional manner. Must take extra precautions when working in patient/resident care areas and keep tools out of reach of children.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including mechanical and stationary systems.
- Conduct work quality inspections to ensure all work orders are completed following acceptable engineering practices.
- Direct and supervise other maintenance mechanics as needed.
- Assist management with department personnel, including interviewing, hiring, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.
- Perform general duties such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and bed repair and maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Five years of experience in building systems preferred.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
