Job Summary

Responsible for performing light maintenance repairs and cleaning tasks in a safe and professional manner. Must take extra precautions when working in patient/resident care areas and keep tools out of reach of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including mechanical and stationary systems.
  • Conduct work quality inspections to ensure all work orders are completed following acceptable engineering practices.
  • Direct and supervise other maintenance mechanics as needed.
  • Assist management with department personnel, including interviewing, hiring, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.
  • Perform general duties such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and bed repair and maintenance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Five years of experience in building systems preferred.
  • Valid driver's license may be required.
