Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at MUSC Health Charleston. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and position them for imaging procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and imaging results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in nuclear medicine technology and techniques
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine or a related field
  • Knowledge of nuclear medicine principles and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Siemens equipment
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
