This role encompasses both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, primarily focusing on oncology-based cases, particularly head and neck oncology, including tracheostomy and laryngectomy care. The unit operates at a moderate pace with fluctuations in workload. Modified Barium Swallow Studies are routinely performed, with a focus on cognitive, language, speech, and voice assessments and treatments.

Experience Requirement: 2 years required, 5 years preferred. First-time travelers are encouraged to apply. Orientation consists of approximately 80 hours, with around 72 hours spent on the floor. Uniforms: Wine-colored scrubs (not provided). EPIC documentation system.

Certifications Required: BLS (AHA only, no HeartCode); State SLP license must be active.

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy: Required, with medical or religious exemptions considered.

Estimated Weekly Compensation: $3015 per week, based on qualifications and experience. This rate applies to travel positions located more than 50 miles from the candidate's permanent address.
