Senior Care Opportunity

At Buckner International, we are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Ventana by Buckner. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer prescribed treatments and medications, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to individual service plans.
  • Conduct meaningful rounds with residents, recording visits and vital signs as required.
  • Supervise and assign duties to nurse aides, monitoring their work and assisting in carrying out the activities program.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, following through with orders and handling medication preparation, administration, and documentation.
  • Monitor the condition of medication rooms, carts, and refrigerators, maintaining a safe and organized environment.
  • Chart accurately and in accordance with facility policy and state guidelines.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Current Licensed Vocational Nurse License.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Minimum one-year related experience preferred, or appropriate formal education or Buckner training.
  • Working knowledge of basic health care practices and procedures, including infection control.
  • A friendly attitude and a servant's heart.
