We are seeking a qualified individual with a current Red Cross Instructor Certification in Adult & Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid, and BLS (Basic Life Support). The ideal candidate must have all necessary equipment to facilitate training sessions for groups of up to 12 participants.
Save A Life CPR Training, LLC is a dedicated training provider operating in various locations. We are looking for an instructor to conduct the in-person skills segment of our blended learning courses. Classes are typically scheduled based on your availability, primarily during evenings or weekends.
We handle the logistics, including venue arrangements and promotional activities. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver engaging training sessions and submit attendance records post-class.
This is a contract position (1099), with compensation of $125 per class, which includes both Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, First Aid (2 hours & 15 minutes), and BLS (2-1/2 hours) training. Payment options include immediate transfer via cash-app or venmo, or monthly checks.
To qualify, you must provide proof of your Red Cross instructor certifications and possess your own training equipment, including adult and infant mannikins, AED trainers, pocket masks, BVMs, and face shields.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver CPR, AED, First Aid, and BLS training sessions in designated venues.
- Educate participants on emergency response techniques and life-saving procedures.
- Instruct on effective methods for treating injuries, including bandaging and burn care.
- Foster a positive and interactive learning atmosphere.
- Employ various teaching strategies to enhance participant comprehension and retention.
- Demonstrate correct procedures for CPR, AED usage, and first aid techniques.
- Assess participant performance during practical exercises and provide feedback.
- Stay informed on the latest guidelines and best practices in emergency response.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional public speaking abilities to convey information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CPR, first aid, and emergency response protocols.
- Previous instructional experience is advantageous.
- Capability to modify teaching approaches to suit various learning preferences.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with participants and create an encouraging environment.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing class logistics and documentation.
