Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Laser Technician to join our team at IPG Medical, a subsidiary of IPG Photonics. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and integrating laser medical products and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test laser medical products and assemblies
  • Perform inspection and assembly of laser medical products and components
  • Conduct functional testing following established procedures
  • Monitor and manipulate instruments and processes used in product assembly
  • Follow written manufacturing procedures and complete inspection documentation
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Assist with inventory control, warehouse, shipping, and receiving
  • Aid in building and validating test fixtures
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in production with laser medical devices or similar products
  • Proficiency in light manufacturing and assembly equipment, including PCB soldering stations, wire cutters/strippers, and small hand tools
  • Ability to lift and move components weighing 25 lbs. minimum
  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree in engineering or technical discipline preferred
