Job Summary

Urban Art Projects is seeking a skilled Foundry Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for melting and pouring molds of various shapes, sizes, and alloys.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production and project success.
  • Operate the burnout oven to prepare lost-wax cores for casting.
  • Prepare miscellaneous metals for casting, including bronze, stainless, and aluminum.
  • Pour metals into shell and sand molds.
  • Perform clean-out and maintenance of casting equipment.
  • Multi-task and track parts across numerous projects.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in foundry work.
  • Ability to work with associated departments to troubleshoot casting issues and devise solutions.
  • Familiarity with metallurgy and quality control of casting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent team player with a strong work ethic and focus on delivery.
