Sanitation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Specialist to join our team at Redemption Road Foods, Inc. As a Sanitation Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test food contact surfaces for compliance with consumer protection standards
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
• Prepare and submit accurate and complete inspection reports, sample collection reports, and other documents as required
• Develop and implement sanitation and hygiene protocols to prevent contamination and ensure food safety
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address sanitation and hygiene concerns
• Provide training and guidance to staff on sanitation and hygiene procedures
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to sanitation and hygiene

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sanitation and hygiene, food safety, or a related field
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
