Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT Project and Portfolio Management frameworks that align with the organization's Business Transformation PMO.
- Recruit, mentor, and oversee a high-performing team of IT Project Managers.
- Assist in the selection and deployment of PMO tools that facilitate Portfolio Management, Project Management, Capacity Management, and Agile-based SDLC processes.
- Provide essential guidance and training to promote best practices and ensure sustainable adoption.
- Maintain current project trackers and KPIs with up-to-date information on projects, releases, sprints, and iterations.
- Lead resource capacity planning to ensure optimal utilization of IT project and product teams.
- Act as program manager for large-scale, high-visibility initiatives.
- Oversee the success and quality of all ongoing IT projects.
- Manage assigned IT projects and initiatives with detailed plans to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and scope-adherent delivery.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, interdependencies, and constraints related to project deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance metrics.
- Oversee software quality assurance, including unit, regression, and UAT testing, ensuring all tasks are documented and executed effectively.
- Facilitate change management processes to support organizational acceptance and adaptation to new initiatives.
- Encourage the adoption of Agile project management methodologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT personnel, and management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Project Management with a strong focus on Agile/Scrum SDLC methodologies.
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in technical project management.
- Proven experience working with PMOs.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, testing, and change management practices.
- Technical proficiency to lead development teams and assess complex project risks accurately.
- Strong business acumen to collaborate with business analysts and clients in developing high-value strategies and solutions.
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to influence and guide others.
- Strong analytical, time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with robust analytical capabilities.
- Highly organized and self-driven.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high quality and analytical rigor.
- Project Management Certification is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or extensive relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in Program and Portfolio Management.
- Minimum of 5 years managing cross-functional teams and projects.
- Agile/Scrum Certification.
- MBA or Master's Degree.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Azure DevOps.
