Role Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will offer expert guidance and strategic direction on managing multiple projects and products to align with organizational objectives. Your role will involve providing advanced analytical support to inform decisions related to resources, timelines, scopes, priorities, risks, and opportunities. You will establish processes to improve collaboration with other teams and ensure the effective management of portfolios.

Key Contributions
The Enterprise Planning Lead position allows you the autonomy to shape your daily activities while collaborating with dedicated professionals to achieve the following:

  • Facilitate portfolio planning and engage with essential stakeholders across various functions, including business, technology, finance, and strategy, to drive key outcomes in alignment with Fannie Mae's strategic vision.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to uphold the Portfolio & Program Management Policy and Standards across the enterprise.
  • Support the Capacity-Based Planning initiative, including the creation of performance snapshots, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and executive reporting for senior leadership.
  • Analyze and synthesize information to provide recommendations for senior-level audiences.
  • Conduct complex data analysis and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee compliance with lean governance and manage operational risks effectively.
  • Evaluate current and future tooling requirements.
Qualifications

Essential Experience

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in managing project plans and resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Skilled in storytelling and presenting information engagingly and understandably, utilizing visual aids such as charts, images, and dashboards with tools like Tableau, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Experience in gathering precise information to clarify concepts and address critical inquiries.

Preferred Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse functional backgrounds towards shared objectives.
  • Experience in assisting organizations with planning and managing change to achieve strategic goals.
  • Proficient in understanding and interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, and benchmarking.
  • Exceptional influencing skills, including negotiation, persuasion, facilitation, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong relationship management capabilities, including stakeholder engagement and network building.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including copywriting and communication planning.
