Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at a healthcare facility in Santa Fe, NM. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the nursing staff in delivering excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and transferring patients as needed.
  • Assist with vital signs, medication administration, and other clinical tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, treatments, and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A valid CNA certification in the state of New Mexico.
  • BLS certification.
  • One to three years of experience as a CNA, preferably in a hospital or long-term care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of heavier objects with assistance.
