Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Diabetes Educator. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating our Diabetes Services program, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of care and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain current knowledge of diabetes and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification
  • Provide education to diabetic inpatients and outpatients, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and support
  • Deliver staff education related to diabetes, promoting a culture of excellence and best practices within our organization
  • Maintain program recognition status, if applicable, and ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality and care
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current California RN licensure
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills strongly preferred
  • Experience in program management and care of people with diabetes
  • Basic computer skills and clear, professional communication

Pay Range

The hourly pay range for this position is $77.02.
