Unit Overview

The 2EB unit is a 20-bed Progressive Care unit that specializes in caring for patients with stroke, open heart, and glucostabilizer conditions. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with stroke, open heart, and glucostabilizer conditions
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage telemetry monitoring systems to ensure patient safety
  • Administer medications and IV drips as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • BSN degree required
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Experience with stroke patients and titration of drips
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
