Core Objective:

Each team member's primary responsibility is to ensure high-quality service to our clients and colleagues, whether directly or through collaborative support. The following outlines the essential functions necessary to achieve this goal.

Position Overview:

Under the general oversight of a supervisor, and in compliance with local, state, federal, and corporate regulations, the role involves the pre-packaging of all medications for subsequent distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute tasks as directed by the supervisor and/or licensed pharmacist.
  • Receive incoming pharmaceutical supplies from the Purchasing Department.
  • Transfer medications from containers to the designated bingo and blister cards.
  • Maintain pre-packaging equipment, including changing brushes and cleaning devices when handling different medications.
  • Accurately label bingo and blister cards.
  • Transport pre-packaged medications, verified by pharmacists, to the designated pharmacy area.
  • Assist with Pharmacy Technician duties during less busy periods.
  • Engage in ongoing education by attending drug in-services and staying updated on policy changes.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and workspaces according to established protocols.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensed by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
  • Thorough knowledge of medications and generics.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Detail-oriented mindset.
