The Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to patients of all ages. As a member of the nursing team, you will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and resources, and taking a leadership role in planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing plan of care. This position requires the RN to provide safe and effective nursing care, utilizing the nursing process, and to direct and supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess patient health problems and resources, and develop a plan of care that addresses their needs.
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients of all ages, utilizing the nursing process.
- Direct and supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care, ensuring that they are competent and capable of providing high-quality care.
- Administer and perform specialized nursing care according to assigned unit and treatments ordered for patients.
- Current Louisiana RN License
- Current BLS/ACLS
- De-Escalation Certification
- National Certification in Clinical Specialty, preferred
- Minimum of two years of nursing practice, including sufficient clinical and leadership experience to ensure competence
