Our facility features 16 operating rooms that cater to a diverse range of inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures, including General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Neurology, ENT, Vascular, Urology, Endoscopy, and Robotic Surgery.
Patient acuity levels vary, and participation in on-call duties is required, with designated rest areas available for on-call staff. The frequency of on-call duties and weekend shifts will be determined by departmental requirements. We welcome new graduates, and while CNOR certification is preferred, it is not mandatory.WORKING HOURS:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Registered Nurse serves as a professional caregiver who plans, delivers, and oversees patient care and education, employing the nursing process in alignment with established patient care standards and physician directives.
The staff nurse is expected to demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care, considering the specific chronological age, developmental stage, and/or psycho-social maturity of patients.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
A graduate of an accredited nursing program with current licensure from the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
Experience:
Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Licensure and Certification:
Must hold a current license from the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
CPR and BLS certifications are required.
CNOR certification is preferred.
