Piping Design and Field Operations Role

At Pan Asia Resources, we are seeking a skilled Piping Designer - Field Engineer to join our team. As a Piping Designer - Field Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the disposition of RFIs, NCRs, and Field Changes, as well as assisting in managing design changes throughout the project lifecycle. You will also address and solve day-to-day project coordination challenges, supporting the PM in the identification, logging, analysis, and resolution/mitigation of issues and risks. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of Risk Management Sessions, Lessons Learned Sessions, and Project Gate Review Packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinates the disposition of RFIs, NCRs, and Field Changes
  • Assists managing design changes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Addresses and solves day-to-day project coordination challenges supporting the PM in the identification, logging, analysis, and resolution/mitigation of issues and risks
  • Assists in the preparation of Risk Management Sessions
  • Assists in the preparation of Lessons Learned Sessions
  • Assists in the preparation of Project Gate Review Packages

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management
  • Advanced knowledge of Project Management Processes; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification an asset
  • Experience in project coordination and/or technical experience in large Design & Build
  • Excellent communication skills, high level of integrity, and willingness to build trust and accountability in inter-personal relationships while working in a team setting
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Proficient in current communication mediums and technologies (i.e., Microsoft Office, telecommunications, email, meetings)
  • Good physical condition and compliance with all project health and safety requirements
