Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a contract Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in a fast-paced medical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various imaging modalities, including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and CT scans.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
Requirements:
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (CRT) or Registered Technologist (RT).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, with a strong background in patient care and technical expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
