Speech Therapist Job Description

JFK Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will evaluate and administer medically prescribed treatment to individuals diagnosed with speech, language, and swallowing dysfunction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communication disorders and be able to work effectively with patients of all ages. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to assess communication skills and develop treatment plans
  • Administer medically prescribed treatment to patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement interventions to improve communication skills
  • Work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve treatment goals
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • California State License and Certificate of Clinical Competency
  • Annual Update and TB Screening
  • Ethics Training and CPR Certification
Pay and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors, including qualifications and experience.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Days off include Saturday and Sunday.
