About the Role

The Judge Group is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to join our client's team in the Austin, MN area. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the manufacturing process and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish and continually improve manufacturing processes and products.
  • Provide support with layout, design, improvement, and implementation that enables the plant to reach key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects for the plant.
  • Actively participate with teams and with teammates to provide improvements in Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
  • Manage and execute new equipment installations, equipment capacity analysis/utilization, labor planning, which includes construction and implementation of labor standards, ergonomic improvements, productivity improvement, and standard labor cost construction.
  • Develop standardized work practice sheets.
  • Provide the plant operations groups with solutions on equipment layouts and plant capacities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean Manufacturing principles.
