Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Clermont, FL. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our physicians and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to our physicians and patients
  • Manage front desk receptionist duties, including answering phone calls, greeting patients, and ensuring accurate patient information
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining on-time appointment schedules
  • Retrieve and file patient records as needed
  • Collect payment from patients and maintain accurate patient records
  • Responsible for office supply inventory and maintaining a clean and organized entrance area
  • Protect patient rights by maintaining confidentiality of patient records
Requirements
  • Experience as a front-office receptionist or assisting in an office or healthcare clinic
  • Medical billing and coding experience is highly preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred
  • Experience working in an EMR, Athenahealth is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
  • Motivated and dedicated team member with a stable work history
