Job Title: Supply Chain Management Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our supply chain team as a Supply Chain Management Specialist in Houston, Texas. This role will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, processing shipments, and ensuring seamless communication with customers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities for warehouses in Houston and Odessa, Texas.
  • Manage customer sales orders and invoices with high accuracy.
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments, including assigning batch numbers, picking orders, calling carriers, and completing shipping paperwork.
  • Organize and maintain a centralized file system for all shipping and receiving documents, ensuring all necessary signatures and records are completed.
  • Monitor shipping and receiving schedules and communicate status updates to relevant parties.
  • Prepare and generate reports and documents as required.
  • Verify the completion of blending documents, random quality checks, and ensure four scale tickets are completed and attached to the appropriate Bill of Lading.
  • Arrange transportation for loads departing the Houston facility and shipping from Houston via truck and/or railcar to warehouses in the USA and Canada.
  • Work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond to changing priorities and customer demands.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers and vendors through clear and concise communication.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a supply chain or logistics environment.
  • Proven track record of shipping and receiving; excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond to changing priorities and customer demands.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese communication (verbal and written).
  • Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Estimated Salary: $64,200 - $84,000 per year, depending on experience.
