Job Summary

Mission Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing advanced ultrasound procedures, utilizing sterile techniques, and assisting physicians as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Perform invasive and non-invasive ultrasound procedures on a variety of patients
  • Utilize sterile techniques and assist physicians as necessary
  • Continuing education, learned skills, and experience will be utilized to produce superior quality imaging studies
  • Must work within a minimum of 3 qualifying ARDMS specialty certifications in addition to ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI Vascular certification
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
  • ARDMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound at time of hire
  • Vascular Ultrasound Registry from either ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI required upon hire
  • High Risk OB technologist must be registered in OB/GYN
  • Must complete required CEU's to maintain certification
  • BCLS certified
