Role Overview: Plant Maintenance Technician

In the role of Plant Maintenance Technician, you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and play a vital role within our Maintenance team. Your primary responsibilities will encompass all aspects of predictive and preventative maintenance initiatives. This includes the repair and upkeep of various machinery and equipment, such as bucket elevators, conveyors, compressors, pumps, and both pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure optimal production and quality by maintaining the efficient operation of mechanical equipment.
- Identify issues by observing machinery in operation, listening for anomalies, and utilizing precision measuring and testing tools.
- Dismantle devices to remove defective components, employing hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools safely.
- Manage inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies effectively.
- Associate degree in Mechanical Maintenance or a relevant combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy industrial mechanical and millwright roles within a continuous operation manufacturing setting.
- Proven attention to detail and a strong commitment to follow-up.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis and fault-free analysis techniques.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
