YOUR ROLE AS A CHEF DE CUISINE...

The ideal Executive Kitchen Leader will possess over four years of experience overseeing kitchen operations in upscale, high-volume dining establishments. A genuine passion for culinary arts and community engagement is essential. You will source top-quality ingredients to craft memorable dishes that captivate our guests with every bite.

In your capacity as Chef de Cuisine, you will foster staff development and cultivate a positive atmosphere for both employees and patrons, driving towards profitability and operational excellence. You will manage all kitchen functions, including resolving issues and ensuring effective communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and enjoyment among staff and guests.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food and service quality are consistently met.
  • Evaluate and implement service protocols to maintain operational consistency.
  • Drive financial success by preparing budgets, managing expenses, analyzing discrepancies, and taking corrective measures.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to optimize profitability across recruitment, finance, legal, and restaurant operations.
  • Anticipate financial trends to manage labor, food, and beverage costs effectively.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to foster a cooperative workplace culture.
  • Lead by example, promoting health, safety, and cleanliness throughout the establishment.

EXPECTATIONS IN THE LODGE, RESTAURANT, & ROOMS...

Your work schedule may vary, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on seasonal demands and operational hours. Generally, you can expect to work between 55 to 60 hours weekly. A minimum of two years of culinary preparation experience in a high-volume kitchen is required.
