The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department. As an RN, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor patients' conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including referrals to specialists and other healthcare services.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes, adhering to regulatory and organizational standards.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- One (1) or more years of recent clinical experience as a RN in an Emergency Department or similar setting.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 60 months of employment start date.
