Playground and Recreational Equipment Installer

We are looking for a dedicated Playground and Recreational Equipment Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the setup and maintenance of commercial playground installations and shade structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assembly and maintenance of commercial playgrounds and shade installations.
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Excavate appropriate footings with machinery assistance.
- Manage inventory and provide necessary parts and hardware support to team members.
- Understand and follow installation guidelines as outlined in manuals. Ability to interpret basic plans is essential.
- Carry out the assembly of playground and shade components, including metal pipework.
- Mix concrete as required for installations.
- Be open to travel for work assignments.
Qualifications:
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in construction or landscaping trades, particularly in metal framing or related fields.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to manage a physically demanding workload.
- Strong teamwork skills, capable of collaborating within a small group.
- Understanding of leveling, plumbing, and elevation in landscaping contexts.
- Experience working alongside mechanized equipment to assist operators.
- Comfortable working at heights ranging from 6 to 12 feet.
Additional Skills (Not Mandatory):
- Prior experience in playground or shade structure installation.
- Experience operating skid steers.
- A diverse skill set with a broad range of handyman capabilities.
