Welcome to Cascades

We're seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at our Piscataway facility. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing established PM procedures on our corrugator equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use equipment, manuals, and drawings to troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems
  • Install electrical and electronic equipment, components, and apparatus of industrial machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair power distribution equipment and hardware components
  • Use laptop computer to load/download programs to programmable logic controllers and programmable drive units
  • Use test equipment such as oscilloscope and laptop computer to troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic systems

Requirements:
  • 5 years of industrial electrician experience
  • Electronic certification, certification on PLCs
  • Programming PLCs (Asset)
  • Skills and experience in basic electrical safety, basic industrial electricity principles and concepts, AC/DC motors and machinery, electrical troubleshooting, National Electrical Code, use of voltage tester, digital multi-meter, clamp-on ammeter
