Lead Radiology Technologist Role

This position involves coordinating the activities and schedules of the Radiology Technologists. You will perform a variety of radiological procedures and be responsible for on-call duties as required. In the absence of the Supervisor or Director, you will oversee the Radiology Department to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Qualifications

Essential Skills: Strong verbal communication skills are necessary for understanding and conveying medical instructions and information to patients and staff. Problem-solving abilities are also essential.

Minimum Education: Completion of a JRCERT accredited program in Radiologic Technology.

Experience Requirements: A minimum of one to two years of radiology experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities is required. Preferred candidates will have three years of experience in radiology with proven leadership skills.

Certifications: Current certification and registration in Radiography R.T. (R)(CRT) and CPR are mandatory.

Supervision: This role will provide functional supervision over staff, students, and ancillary personnel within the department.
