Position Overview
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Dignity Health Medical Group, you will be responsible for delivering anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical interventions and other procedures that necessitate anesthetic administration. Your role is critical in ensuring that patients receive exceptional nursing care during their most vulnerable moments.
In this position, you will engage with patients to address their inquiries regarding the surgical process and recovery, conduct thorough patient evaluations, ensure that all anesthesia equipment is prepared and functioning, administer anesthetics, monitor vital signs throughout surgical procedures, and oversee the recovery phase of patients.
To excel in this role, you must possess the ability to maintain concentration while managing multiple tasks, remain composed in high-pressure situations, and demonstrate sound judgment during emergencies.

Key Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Administer anesthetic management for patients undergoing surgical procedures and provide labor pain management, including airway management and support in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, in collaboration with anesthesiology teams in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master of Medical Science in Anesthesiology is preferred.
Licensure:
- Completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program recognized by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Arizona State Board of Nursing
- Current Nurse Anesthetist certification from the Arizona Board of Nurse Anesthetists
- Certification as a CRNA from the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Experience:
- Preferred: Two (2) years of experience as a CRNA
- Experience in obstetric anesthesia is advantageous
