Pharmaceutical Specialist

Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Arkansas. A strong background in hospital pharmacy is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Compounds and dispenses medications according to orders of physicians, dentists, or other practitioners authorized by law to prescribe.

- Provide counseling and pharmaceutical care to employees as needed.

- Supervises and checks work of supportive personnel.

Working Conditions:

This is a safety-sensitive position. The selected candidate must be able to work in a normal hospital environment with close eye work, normal and soft tone hearing, smell detection, and temperature recognition by touch and proximity. Frequent sitting, standing, bending, stooping, walking, and reaching are also required. Long-term bending, sitting, standing, computer work, and squatting are necessary for this position.
