Geriatric Nursing Care Specialist

Strong communication, time management, and critical thinking skills are essential to effectively meet the needs of our residents in a long-term care setting.Benefits and Opportunities- We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

- Education from an accredited school of nursing that results in becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
- Long-term care/rehab/assisted living experience preferred.
- Current license in the state where you will be working as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
- IV Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
- Current CPR/AED Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
You will be responsible for:
- Assessing the basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents.
- Maintaining excellent communication skills to interact with residents, visitors, and staff.
- Demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Posessing critical thinking skills.
