We are seeking a highly skilled Perinatal Intensive Care Specialist to join our team at TotalMed. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and provide specialized care to newborns in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) or similar settings.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a current RN license, BLS certification, and at least two years of recent experience working as a Neonatal Registered Nurse. Strong communication and adaptability skills are essential for this role, as you will be working collaboratively with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families.

Responsibilities

  2. Provide specialized nursing care to newborns, assessing their health status, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications and treatments as prescribed.">
  3. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families.">
  4. Perform neonatal assessments, including developmental screenings and feeding evaluations, to ensure optimal growth and development.">
  5. Educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues for a smooth transition to home care.">
