We are seeking a skilled PRM Clinical Staff Nurse to join our team at the Public Health Trust of Dade Co. As a champion of quality patient care, you will demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipation and planning for patient care in assigned areas.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and experienced nurse to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional high-pressure situations. You will function as a competent nurse, consistently demonstrating the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, and health promotion, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Implements and coordinates the delivery of care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare staff.
- Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in applying nursing knowledge.
- Documents all pertinent information regarding nursing care, care plans, and observations.
- Maintains a working knowledge of facility infection control procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A valid Florida RN license.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
The job function requires extended standing or walking, carrying objects weighing 21-50 pounds, lifting or moving objects weighing 51-100 pounds with the use of appropriate devices, and frequent visual acuity to perform activities related to extended use of computers.
SalaryWe offer a competitive salary range of $65,000-$90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
