Key Responsibilities:As a Process Enhancement Specialist, you will:
- Collaborate with fellow engineers and corporate teams to gain expertise in Lean and DMAIC methodologies, applying this knowledge to critical projects that align with plant performance indicators.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the Continuous Improvement (CI) operating system, focusing on various operational pillars.
- Drive the execution of planned enhancements to meet annual objectives using established systems and methodologies.
- Facilitate the sharing of best practices across teams and locations.
Your role will involve:
- Implementing and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement based on Lean principles.
- Coaching and mentoring staff in problem-solving techniques and CI methodologies.
- Managing a Continuous Improvement docket to prioritize projects and track outcomes.
- Leading cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges.
- Monitoring performance metrics to pinpoint waste and prioritize solutions.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A 4-year degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Science.
- 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a preference for those familiar with continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma practices.
