The Fire Sprinkler Installation Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the comprehensive setup of fire sprinkler systems across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role involves managing specific projects delegated by the Fire Sprinkler Manager, ensuring that the installation process is executed with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret project blueprints to accurately assess installation requirements.
  • Assign tasks to fitters, mechanics, and assistants to meet project timelines and exceed expectations set by management.
  • Oversee the installation and testing of fire suppression systems in both new constructions and retrofitting projects.
  • Adhere to design specifications while communicating necessary adjustments to align with on-site conditions.
  • Manage the delivery of materials to the job site and perform minor fabrication tasks as needed.
  • Maintain daily progress documentation on project drawings.
  • Notify management of any required changes to project orders.
  • Provide instruction and training to helpers, apprentices, and other personnel on installation and service processes.
  • Utilize hand tools, as well as electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of pipefitting, plumbing standards, and fire protection regulations.
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record for company vehicle operation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fire safety principles and practices.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Skilled in using and maintaining small to medium-sized equipment and tools.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Comply with the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policies.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Physical Demands:

  • This position requires frequent standing, walking, and the use of hands for handling tools and materials. It may also involve lifting or moving heavy objects.
  • Essential physical abilities include balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motions, speaking, and visual acuity.
