We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Selector to join our team at PFG Customized Distribution. As a Warehouse Selector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate selection of products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Product Selection: Select cases and other containers of food and non-food products to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems.
- Palletization: Place pallets on pallet jacks and operate along assigned multi-level racks to locate products according to order sheets.
- Order Preparation: Manually place the appropriate stock items on pallets from pick slots and racks as required.
- Shipping and Receiving: Transport completed palletized customer orders to shipping dock staging areas and ensure all quality standards are met.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform safety checks on pallet jacks and forklifts, and ensure all other safety devices are functioning properly.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
- Physical Demands: Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift; able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout the shift
- Work Environment: Able to work in multi-temperature environments, including coolers, freezers, and dry areas
