Responsibilities
  • Provide Skilled Nursing Care: Assess and plan care for residents, implementing interventions to stabilize their condition and prevent complications.
  • Lead the Care Team: Supervise and mentor Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other team members, ensuring that residents receive safe and effective care.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications accurately and safely, monitoring residents for adverse reactions and reporting changes in their condition to the physician.
  • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team: Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and implementation, working closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in the state
  • 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting
  • CPR certification
