Job Title: Heavy Equipment CDL Driver

EquipmentShare is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment CDL Driver to join our team at our rental facility in Portland, OR. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering equipment, products, and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a commercial vehicle in accordance with state and federal transportation laws
  • Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials, using specialized equipment when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signed invoices and shipping bills of lading
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including checking oil, water, gasoline, and air
  • Collaborate with loading crews to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes
Requirements:
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or Chauffeur's License, depending on state requirements
  • Ability to pass background and drug testing, as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations
  • DOT physical certification
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to travel frequently
