We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our transportation service team at Westwood Professional Services, Inc.

About the Role:

As an Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for using standard drafting practices and procedures to assist with various tasks. You will modify and create design plans and drawings using MicroStation under the direction of a designer or engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, edit, and modify drawing files using MicroStation
  • Apply Westwood CAD standards, practices, and procedures in creating and modifying CAD drawings
  • Operate reproduction equipment including large-format scanners and printers
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of drawings and documents
  • Plot and backcheck drawings
  • Conduct field reviews to gather data
  • Take personal responsibility for quality of tasks performed
  • Perform routine analysis to check accuracy of data and work products
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Technical degree or certification in MicroStation, Autodesk Civil3D
  • Demonstrate experience, knowledge, and proficiency in the latest version of MicroStation or Autodesk Civil3D
  • 0-2 [or] 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Possess basic mathematical skills and analytical abilities
