Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients on med/surg and critical care units
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions to ensure seamless care transitions
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and nursing staff
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective care
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs to ensure a smooth transition to post-acute care
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques to promote health and wellness
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Two years of recent related experience (internal applicants with less than two years of experience may be considered with CNO review and approval)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
