Martin County Hospital District is seeking a skilled Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assessments, develop plans of care, and implement and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and in accordance with current clinical nursing practice.
- Direct, monitor, and evaluate the care delegated to non-licensed personnel.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.
- Perform a range of technical services to comprehensively serve patient needs.
- Graduate of a School of Professional Nursing.
- License to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nursing or licensure from a state within the Nursing Compact.
- Successful completion of AHA-approved courses in BLS upon hire.
- ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
- PALS certification preferred.
- Two (2) years experience as a Professional Registered Nurse in an operating room environment.
- Prior OR experience preferred.
- CNOR certification preferred.
