Job Overview

ProSidian Consulting, LLC seeks a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to provide high-quality patient care and support services to clients in the Energy, Resources, and Industrials sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Assistance Services (PAS) to clients with targeted disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility support, and specialized support such as reader services and sighted guidance.
  • Ensure that PAS provided aligns with federal regulations, including the ADA and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity to client needs.
  • Coordinate with the client's Human Capital team and other relevant departments to address emerging needs promptly, whether on-site or at the client's telework location.
  • Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, administering injections, and assisting with patient exams, and maintain proficiency in using assistive technologies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders, and prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited organization such as the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting, preferably in roles that involve direct patient care and administrative responsibilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to explain medical procedures and care instructions to patients in a clear and compassionate manner.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills, and ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and staying updated on industry trends, healthcare regulations, and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems, medical billing and coding, and basic medical procedures.
  • Knowledge of assistive technologies relevant to patients with disabilities, such as ZoomText, JAWS, and other similar tools.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills for effective team management, and ability to supervise and train junior staff members.
