Job Summary

Alameda Health System is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Department of Radiology/Imaging Services. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform a variety of duties related to general Radiography/Fluoroscopy, including performing diagnostic imaging examinations of patients and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in administering opaque media (contrast)
  • Rotate assignments within the department to meet departmental needs
  • Process images and maintain records of examinations/dose/contrast
  • Assist with patient movement and maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Develop and optimize technical factors for radiographic procedures
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment
Requirements
  • Valid ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification
  • Valid Fluoroscopy Permit issued by the State of California
  • BLS - Basic Life Support Certification - issued by AHA-American Heart Association
  • Proficient in a minimum of three Modalities, including X-ray and Fluoroscopy
