We are seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant to enhance our Cyber Advisory services and contribute to the growth of our advisory division.
As a Senior Consultant, you will be instrumental in offering strategic insights, advisory, and consulting services to clients, guiding them through intricate cybersecurity challenges.
This position emphasizes business development while also holding significant responsibilities in client engagement and internal capability enhancement.
You will play a pivotal role in driving growth through collaboration with our sales team and other internal partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Development:
- Identify and pursue new business avenues to broaden our client portfolio.
- Formulate and implement a strategic growth plan within the cyber advisory domain.
- Work alongside sales and marketing teams to craft persuasive proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
Client Engagement:
- Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key stakeholders across targeted sectors.
- Conduct market analysis to uncover trends, threats, and opportunities in the cybersecurity arena.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars to network and showcase our offerings.
Thought Leadership:
- Contribute to the creation of thought leadership content, including white papers, articles, and blog entries.
- Present at conferences and webinars to position the firm as a leader in the cyber advisory field.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and incorporate emerging trends into business development strategies.
Revenue Generation:
- Develop and oversee a pipeline of prospective clients, ensuring a consistent influx of new business.
- Negotiate and finalize agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both clients and our organization.
- Monitor and report on business development initiatives and results, providing regular updates to senior management.
Advisory Services:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, offering expert recommendations on cybersecurity strategies and solutions.
- Navigate and manage uncertainty to deliver clear and actionable guidance.
- Establish long-term relationships with clients, positioning yourself as their primary expert for cybersecurity issues.
Solution Development:
- Collaborate with clients to comprehend their unique challenges and devise customized cybersecurity solutions.
- Utilize a consultative approach to identify and resolve clients' pain points, extending beyond standard assessments.
- Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to co-create innovative security strategies and frameworks.
Project Management:
- Lead and oversee multiple cybersecurity projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (as needed) to deliver cohesive and effective solutions.
Training and Awareness:
- Design and implement cybersecurity training programs and workshops for clients.
- Enhance clients' awareness of cyber threats and the significance of robust security practices.
- Promote a culture of security awareness within client organizations.
Team Development:
- Mentor and nurture junior consultants, providing guidance and support to foster their skills and career progression.
- Lead internal training sessions to share knowledge and best practices within the team.
- Encourage a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Continuous Improvement:
Lead the broader technical teams towards a more consultative approach, ensuring all technical engagements align with the organization's consulting standards and practices.
Implement best practices in project management and client engagement to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Encourage the adoption of innovative technologies and techniques to remain ahead of industry trends.
Proposition Development:
- Develop and refine distinctive cybersecurity propositions to set our organization apart from competitors.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to package and promote these propositions to the market.
- Analyze competitor offerings and industry trends to ensure our propositions remain innovative and relevant.
Knowledge Management:
- Develop and maintain a repository of cybersecurity knowledge, resources, and case studies.
- Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across the organization.
- Lead efforts to standardize and document consulting practices and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is advantageous.

- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar are advantageous.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on advisory and consulting roles.
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading complex cybersecurity projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain relevant security clearance.
