Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, preparing, and displaying meat products to our customers. You will also be expected to provide excellent customer service and work effectively as part of a team.

• Cut, prepare, and display meat products to our customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries.
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of meat products, including cuts, cooking techniques, and quality standards.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating products.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, including setting up and maintaining displays, and ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing.

• 14+ months retail experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment, including adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining equipment in accordance with company standards.

• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment, including handling knives and other cutting equipment.
