Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time Maintenance/Custodian to join our team at Rockford Area Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of custodial and maintenance duties as assigned under the leadership of the Maintenance and Custodian Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform custodial and maintenance duties as assigned, including cleaning, maintenance, and repair of school facilities.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of school facilities.
  • Operate and maintain various equipment and machinery, including cleaning equipment and hand tools.
  • Assist with special projects and events as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Previous experience as a custodian preferred.
  • Able to work for extended periods of time walking and standing.
