About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Central Registry team at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). As a key member of our Information Resources Division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality assurance and quality control of Central Registry data, identifying and resolving discrepancies across program areas.
  • Monitor data validation, standards, and duplication, communicating with program areas to resolve issues.
  • Facilitate analysis, review, and maintenance of existing and future data models, preparing reports on recommendations.
  • Assist internal and external customers with Central Registry's core data requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years of full-time experience in data analysis, data research, or data compilation, and/or reporting work.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in engineering, basic science, computer science, environmental studies, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
