Position Overview:

As a Manager of Test Engineering and Automation, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our test automation processes. Your extensive technical expertise in software engineering and automation, particularly within the payments sector, will be essential in optimizing our testing methodologies and expanding our test coverage.

You will be an integral part of the leadership team within our Core Acquiring Front End engineering division, which is responsible for processing millions of payment transactions daily while ensuring rapid response times. Your leadership will help us maintain our high standards of performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine test automation solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of skilled engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and conduct regular performance evaluations to support team development.
  • Provide guidance on best practices, tools, and methodologies to engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project efforts and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative methods and techniques for project delivery.
  • Formulate strategies aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and improving application stability.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software test engineering or related fields.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership capacity focused on continuous improvement and strategic planning.
  • Proven experience in providing technical and managerial leadership to high-performing engineering teams.
  • Experience with low-latency, high-throughput online transaction processing applications.
  • Expertise in building test automation frameworks and implementing DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard testing tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Karate, JUnit, and Selenium.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in payments technology or application development.
  • Knowledge of credit and debit transaction testing.
  • Understanding of card schemes and related processes.
